Special furniture delivery
Some pieces of furniture are too heavy or too voluminous to be handled by our usual courier and will require to be handled by a specialist company. If you are interested in ordering one of these, please contact our customer service team for a quote, mentioning the items you are interested inand your full address so we can give you a comprehensive quote.

NEW IMPROVED SERVICE!
We have added a SAFE PLACE to the BODIE and FOU check-out page so you can now specify where you would like your parcel to be left if you are not in to take delivery (i.e. with a neighbour at no X on the same road or in the wheelie bin by your house). Please note we are not responsible for parcels left on your doorstep on your request
Same day delivery: We are now offering same day delivery around London. Prices start from £20 subject to postcode & size of the parcel. Please call us or email us for more information.

* If you require for a blind to be delivered next day delivery, please select the option for Small furniture & blinds and email our customer service team. Orders placed and emailed before 12 noon will be dispatched for next day delivery.

Additional, important information about deliveries...
When selecting next day delivery, please ensure there is also someone at home to take delivery or specify a SAFE PLACE at the time of your order. If you place your order after 12 noon on Monday for example, your order will be dispatched on Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday. If you place your order after 12 noon on Thursday, your order will be dispatched on Friday for delivery on Monday.

Some areas in the UK are subject to longer delivery times because of their 'relatively' remote locations: Next Day & Saturday delivery are not available for Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles, Isle of Man and Channels Islands. For all the areas, the next day delivery service will be a 2-day delivery service.


Please note that we can not be held responsible if a parcel failed to be delivered next day due to bad weather conditions and backlog of parcels at the Royal Mail and Interlink depots.

Next day delivery may not be available for gift-wrapping orders as these take a little bit more time to be done properly. Please call us on 0208 450 5600 between 9.30 am and 5pm to check whether we can assist you.

To ensure a swift delivery, we must have proper and complete addresses and make one delivery charge per delivery address. If you enter your workplace as the address of delivery, please make sure you specify the name of your company. 

A mobile number is required in case we or the courier company need to contact you regarding your delivery. If you do not have a mobile phone, please enter a land line day phone number.

Orders are dispatched by Royal Mail 1st Class tracked service or by courier (we use Interlink/DPD/Chronopost). The delivery method will depend on the size, weight and value of the order. Parcel delivered by Interlink/DPD/Chronopost will require a signature on arrival. If you are not in, they will either leave the parcel in the safe place you specified at the time of your order (on the check-out page before paying for your order) or leave a card so you can contact them and re-arrange a delivery (please note that if you wish to change the address of delivery at this stage, a £5.95 charge will incur).

Change of address

You can change your delivery address free of charge by calling us until the point of dispatch. We can only change the address for items dispatched via Interlink as Royal Mail does not provide a service for change of address for parcels in transit. Please note that if your require to change the address of a parcel on transit, there will be a charge of £5.95.

EUROPE ZONE 1 includes: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
While we hope that you will be delighted with the quality and design of the items you have ordered, we appreciate that sometimes you may want to return some items.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order for a full refund for any item purchased from BODIE and FOU.
Term and conditions apply:
* As a customer, you have a duty of care towards the item you have purchased.
* Order cancellations must be made in writing by email, quoting your order number, within 7 working days  of the day after you receive the goods and send to thegirls(at)bodieandfou(dot)com
* Items must be returned to us within 14 days
*Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition (including original packaging) and remained in a re-sellable condition. BODIE and FOU reserves the right to deduct 20% of the original value on any items returned for a refund that we received scratched or dismantled.
* Refunds do not apply to the original cost of postage, packaging and gift-wrapping selected at the time of the original order.
* We can not exchange or accept returns for items that have been used, soiled, dismantled or partially put together (i.e Normann pendant lights)
* Please keep all packaging, spare parts & instructions and returned the goods as they were received by you.
* Items returned beyond 7 days can not be refunded but may exchanged at our discretion.

We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit, therefore we strongly recommend that you obtain a FREE "Certificate of Posting" from the Post Office. For extra peace of mind, you may want to return the goods to us by Recorded Delivery.

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the return postage. On your first exchange, BODIE and FOU will cover the costs of standard postage to send the exchanged good to you. Subsequent exchanges will be charged at the standard delivery rate of £5.95 (for UK orders).

Refunds will be processed within 28 days of receiving the goods back from you. The refund will be made via your original method of payment. When returning goods on which you have received a discount/special offer that offer/discount will no longer apply and will be deducted from the original price.

DAMAGED DELIVERIES
*Although we do our best to ensure that the item(s) you have ordered and well-packed when leaving our warehouse, we rely on third party companies to deliver the parcel to your front door and sometimes accidents happen in transit.
If you have received a damaged item, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. To ensure a smooth replacement, please follow the following steps:
* Notify our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving the item
* Email us a photo of the damaged item(s), quoting your order/invoice number.
We will aim to send you a replacement within 2 to 3 weeks subject to stock availability.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

We ship around the World. Due to the differences in shapes and sizes of our products and furniture, International delivery costs will vary depending on the total volumetric weight of your order and the country of delivery. To find out about Int'l delivery costs, simply add the items to your basket, go to the check-out page and enter your delivery address. Our website will calculate the shipping costs and will exclude the VAT for countries outside the EU automatically. Please note that countries outside of the EU may have to pay local import duties on reception of the goods.

Although our website may display an invoice in the currency relevant to your country of residence, all transactions are in pounds sterling (£). If your credit card is in any other currency, the rate of exchange will be that of your card issuer and you may be charged an international fee by them. Payment online is in a secure environment.
