If you love Christmas in a simple, modern, natural style like me then you will love these minimalist examples of Christmas gift wrapping and free, printable gift tags.
As you may have guessed, I’m not a big fan of green, red or fancy Christmas gift wrapping (but if you do, that’s cool, no judgment).
I like things to be simple and beautiful so I always circle back towards the same style mixing plain white paper, kraft paper, gift labels featuring lovely black & white typography, some black twine or even just some natural string bought from the supermarket.
I have also included my favourite gift labels and wrapping paper free to download.
Last year, I used these beautiful printable hand lettering gift tags.
They are still my favourites but I came across a few more which are also very pretty and all available to print for free:
- printable christmas gifts by Gather & Feast,
- these gift tag stickers (first image)
- These black on white Christmas gift tags
- These red Christmas gift tags
- and these Scandinavian Christmas tags
Like these inspiring wreaths, I think nature has a lot to offer to create the most stylish and simple gift wrapping decorations.
Simply adding a bit of pine tree or eucalyptus will transform any plain paper but I suggest adding them at the last minute to stop them from dying.
I have listed here 10 evergreens that last longer.Sources: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4
Brown kraft paper is very easy to find and incredibly cheap.
When I was running the shop, we used to wrap our customers’ gift orders in white kraft paper with our logo embossed.
Last but not least, I added a selection of the prettiest gift labels I could find for you because I really think they can make or break gift-wrapping.
Which one do you prefer?
If you have come across any monochrome, minimalist, hand lettering gift tags and gift wrapping paper to print, please share them in the comment section so we can all benefit from it.
