As you know, I’m a huge fan of Isabel Marant‘s style (I love her workplace too!). I have pieces I bought at full price and others I found on websites that sell pre-owned luxury fashion like Vestiaire Collective, Vide-Dressing and sometimes Ebay. The key things to bear in mind when buying an Isabel Marant must-have or for any pieces from your favourite Designer, are:

• Buy it because it fits your style and personality (I don’t like everything she does or neither does everything suits my body shape, so choose wisely.
• Work out the cost-per-wear (Total cost of the item/ estimated number of days you’ll wear it = the cost per wear). I live in my wedged sneakers in Winter time and in my Dickers boots in Summer time so the cpw is pretty low compared to the pair of high-heels I would wear less.
• Try the outfit in shop first to work out your size so once the Sale is on, you know exactly what outfit and size to get.
• Be patient and enjoy the process. Personally I draw more satisfaction from adding a key piece once in a while than if I had an unlimited budget. It makes me appreciate it more.

So without further ado, here are my top 15 Isabel Marant must-have in no specific order but I’ve sorted them by category (hope you’ll appreciate the work that goes into this! :-). The great news is that there is some real bargains to grab with some pieces at 50% OFF!

Isabel Marant must-have #1:
This Hess merino wool-blend turtleneck sweater (30% OFF) is great for the Winter and stylish getaway weekends by the sea. I would wear mine with a pair of these distressed skinny jeans by R13.

Isabel Marant must-have #2:
If you’re after a new coat, this is it! The Daryl oversized bouclé coat (30% OFF) is back in smooth cotton jersey and will look ace worn with the leather skinny pants I mentioned below.

Isabel Marant must-have #3:
This Audric leather jacket, worn by Isabel Marant herself in this video (30% OFF). This is Marant’s take on the classic Perfecto which is a normally quite heavy and pair with a pair of skinny jeans and ankle boots, it just looks ace!

Isabel Marant must-have #4:
These Joren suede-trimmed leather skinny pants (40% OFF) which is very much what Emmanuelle Alt, Editor of French VOGUE would wear, are a great investment piece at £699.

Isabel Marant must-have #5:
I’m so loving this Moody embellished silk crepe de chine wrap skirt (40% OFF). I think it exudes Summer holidays and I just want to pack my bag, grab a Jérôme Dreyfuss bag and go!

Isabel Marant must-have #6:
An alternative to the Joren leather skinny pants, the Brodie leather trousers (50% OFF) come with plenty of stretch for a flexible and flattering fit if you think the skinny version will be too challenging.

Isabel Marant must-have #7:
Featured in one of my 5 Things I Want Right Now! last year, the Mick washed-silk maxi dress (40%) is a great investment piece for this Summer. I absolutely love the plunge-neck which I found very sexy. Available in red here.

After the maxi-dress, this Wana stretch-crepe mini dress (30%) is a lovely, versatile piece. It’s a bit too short for me but if you have leggy legs, go for it!

Isabel Marant must-have #9:
I can’t tell you how many times I drooled over this pair of Andrew ankle boots (40% OFF). Elodie has a similar pair and they are SO flippin’ flattering and sexy, it hurts each time I see them :-))

Isabel Marant must-have #10:
These Nygel leather and shearling ankle boots in black (50% OFF) which I tried on last Summer in Cap-Breton when the AW collection came out. They are perfect for Winter, super comfy and now I’m pondering if I should get the black ones or the brown ones. Which colour do you prefer?

Isabel Marant must-have #11:
I know, I have a thing for leopard print…I got gorgeous leopard print stilettos last Summer from Marant and these Ginger leopard-print ankle boots have the same effect on me. Wear them with a skinny jeans cut above your ankles

Isabel Marant must-have #12:

Isabel Marant must-have #13:
I treated myself to this classic Isabel Marant watch (30% OFF) last Christmas and never looked back. The design was inspired by a watch Isabel’s father gave her and is exclusively available from Net-a-Porter. It’s stylish, discreet and feminine and one of these pieces I will treasure to pass on to Mila when she is older.

Isabel Marant must-have #14:
These Matt Aviator style sunglasses (30%), like the Rayban are a great investment piece. The Aviator is a timeless design which won’t go out of fashion for years. Personally, after trying different brands and models for years, I have now decided that the Aviator is just the perfect model for my face. They look great on Elodie too.
