Do you remember last time I was in France, I drove my mum’s car into a wall…Well on Wednesday, my mum took her car to the Renault concession to get it inspected by the insurers… Wednesday: 8.30amConversation between Mila and my Dad… Mila: “Papie..I’m going to tell you a very funny story….I watched Harry Potter last night and I’m VE-RY tired…You woke me up VE-RY early this morning!….I didn’t have breakfast….!And NOW we have to go to Le Garage….”She has a dry sense of humour which makes me laugh :-) Anyway…while I’m away, Sophie will be working on our fantastically beautiful catalogue and we are after a few very nice images of Paris and London so if you would like your photos to be featured, please email Sophie(at)bodieandfou(dot)com. Unfortunately we will not be able to pay for the photos but we will be happy to credit you. I love this…

This is my new toy…the plattan headphones by Scandinavian Headphones Heroes: Urbanears. I took the black plattan headphones and white one to France a few weeks ago for the photoshoot of our new catalogue and went running with them 3 times…What can I say…I love them!The little headphones I had with my i-Phone kept falling off my ears and were driving me crazy but these…they just stay nicely on my head during 8K and being able to run with loud music and no disruption has made my runs a lot more enjoyable!Now may I shyly say that the photos below were taken by my brother and styled by me….

Gold beauty

I needed cheering up this morning and I also needed a dress for several meetings Sophie & will be having with Living Etc, Homes & Gardens, Ideal Home etc tomorrow…and I found this gorgeous dress from Zara!Do you think I can rock the gold look for day meetings?I’m thinking flat ballerinas or these pair of cream heels I got from Initial Fashion in Hong Kong to bring a summer vibe and a little Clare Vivier oversize clutch bag to carry the Ipad… Update:So in the end, I wore the dress for our meetings with the shoes above and gosh didn’t I love it! I’m taking this little gold number to France next week… http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/UxVs

Gorgeous plaits

To Mila who has been playing up a tree for the past hour …. Me: “Why don’t you go and have a bath, you’re really dirty!” Mila: If you tell me that one MORE TIME, I’m gonna water gun you!!” Me: “…” So off we went, had a bath then we looked at plaits online together and she told me she was joking about the water gun.

Inspiring day…

A little nap after lunch, time at the beach and an ice-cream to finish what was a nice day… Une petite sieste apres le dejeuner, quelques heures a la plage et une glace pour finir une belle journee… http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/UxVs

My home in London {The pallet table}

I don’t know if you can see how the lounge was from this photoshoot with Editions Paumes for their book London Family Style (or from there)… At the time, we had recently moved in and hadn’t done anything to the house. It was far from what I wanted our home to look like for the photoshoot but when Paumes ask if you would like to be featured in their book, you just go with it! Back then, the lounge was painted in magnolia, the windows had big, heavy curtains to prevent drafts, the floorboards looked dull and the shelves across the fireplace made the room small and cluttered.So here is what I did to life up the room once we had decided that we wouldn’t spend £25K on knocking down the wall like in Paul Massey’s house. * 1st (best) decision: Paint all the walls in bright white with kitchen paint. With a child & a dog, you either do this, or you get a nervous breakdown each time there is scuff on your pristine …
