Styling from Amsterdam Part 2

This is a picture I styled and shot last June in Amsterdam when I stayed with my good friend Desiree from Vosges Paris. We attended Meet The Blogger on Saturday but I spent Friday and Sunday shooting a few images for the BODIE and FOU AW/12 catalogue (you can request a copy here). I love her home very much so it was a real pleasure to imagine a workspace a la BODIE and FOU with some of my favourite things like the Feathers print, and our clip on light which is now back in stock. Sneak peek of the BODIE and FOU AW/12 catalogue

I ‘m very excited to share this sneak-peek of our AW BODIE and FOU catalogue* with you today and I really really hope you will love it as much as I do because I can’t tell you the amount of work that goes into it!! Inspired by the success of our Spring/Summer collection, we’ve added this gorgeous linen duvet cover in mustard which will be just perfect for cosy, winter nights in and also lots of industrial lights including the pipe light which is now available with a matt iron finish and a mini collection of copper lights** which is just sublime. To make your Xmas shopping shopping easier (I know crazy to even think about Xmas now), we’ve sourced lots of stylish, unusual and beautiful gifts for all budgets starting with this gorgeous star garland** (as seen on the wall below) and this pretty set of votive candles** which is only £10. We will also have lots of new things for children such as this exclusive graphic monkey print** which I l know, would sit nicely in our mood board …

What a beautiful wedding…

I‘m sorry…the first part of my post may not be what you were expected from the title but it’s the only thing I have been thinking about since last night…I found a cyste in my breast last night when I went to bed. It is probably nothing but I have an appointment at the GP on Thursday just to check it out. I have to admit that I’m freaking out a little bit but will see. Let’s keep focusing on positive things…On a more light-hearted note, I’m in love with this beautiful video shot by Geoff Boothby for the James & Aubrey’s wedding. The song is Blood by The Middle East and I have been listening to it all day.James, the bride is the blogger behind Bluebird where you can see more of these gorgeous photos but what a cool name!! If I have another girl I will call her James or Joe like Charlotte Have a great day! xoxo Via Un Beau Jour J‘ai senti comme un kyste hier soir dans mon sein, ce n’est probablement rien mais au cas …

Bedroom masterplan

Since I’ve been styling our stonewashed linen collection in our guest room (above) for our SS/2012 catalogue, I have been dying to re-decorate our own bedroom. When we moved in, a couple of years ago, my first call of action was to paint the magnolia walls and wardrobe in white except the wall behind our bed which I painted in light grey (Pavilion Gray from Farrow & Ball).

How to use dark grey in a kids bedroom

Mila’s bedroom

I’m often asked what colour I used in Mila’s bedroom and now that the handmade Pigmée collection is back in stock, I thought I would share again these details as some of you may have missed my previous posts. {GET THE LOOK} – I painted only one wall in Down Pipe by Farrow & Ball and painted the other three bright white to keep the room light. – It took me ages to find a contemporary, affordable bed for Mila and in the end, I got hers from Ikea but since then, I discovered COSATTO. – The light grey linen duvet cover is from here and exists in double size too. – I also used the lovely Pigmée garland to soften the look of the wall.  – The “You are Loved” sticker used to be on BODIE and FOU but is now sold out. However, if you wish to achieve a similar look with any of these wall stickers and add one of your family photo. Voila! If you have any questions, just leave a comment…well even if you don’t have …
