Once a rebel…always a rebel. I recently washed by hand my beloved white jacket as per the instructions on the label that says NOT TO/DRY-CLEANING ONLY and as a result, wrecked it so I got a new one from Zara in Paris a couple of weeks ago. It’s a bit longer than my previous one but it’s very fitted and I love the 3/4 quater sleeves. I also love this one very much and this blazer.
These are behind-the-scene shots I took when Côté Ouest magazine came to shoot our home last June, which I never shared with you. We moved a lot of things around in the house for the sake of the photoshoot to create new images but I’m especially fond of these photos in our tree house which was built by Steve and was a really work of love. Sadly Mila no longer fit in this fabulous denim jumpsuit which we got from Gap but you can probably find similar ones on Elias and Grace or Smallable. I’ll sell some of Mila’s clothes on Instagram soon.
These last couple of days felt really like Summer in France and while I’m stuck in France nursing a cold and low blood pressure, my mind can’t help thinking about how I will feel in a few weeks wearing shorts and sandales. 1/ I love dungarees and ASOS has plenty of interesting pieces but it’s one piece of clothing that doesn’t fit my figure (yet), however jumpsuits are perfect for me and this gorgeous chambray playsuit by Michael Kors is screaming my name. 2/ I also love this Kimono by MiH Jeans (their Niobi broderie anglaise dress is super cute too) 3/ Wear silver in Winter and gold in Summer especially this pretty Pineapple cuff from Hush. By the way, their military jacket I’m wearing here is fab. It has an elastic fabric that makes it very comfortable. 4/ Sandals are a must-have during the Summer. I usually go for a pair of black and gold so they can match most of my summer outfits. 5/and this fab gold shopper bag that was inspired by Emmanuelle Alt’s style SHOP THE POST:
And just like that, a crappy day turns into a wonderful one… The weather is really beautiful in France but I got up feeling down by the perspective of flying back to London tonight and leave Steve and Mila behind. I should be used to it by now, I have been travelling between London and Bordeaux quite a few times this year but nope! It really doesn’t get easier and I can’t wait for this school year to be over and us to be together again. On the plus side, I just found out that the French Air traffic controllers are on strike and my flight has been cancelled which means that I get to spend 4 more days with my little family and that, my friends, has cheered me up big time! //1. I wasn’t really feeling the love at the start of March…work was keeping me in London the whole month with no time to fly to the south west of France to be with Steve and Mila and I wasn’t mentally prepared to spend Mother’s Day (UK) AND my birthday alone. So I booked a ticket to head to Paris and ended up spending a fabulous weekend with the favourite women in my life: Mila, my sister, my mum and my best friend. If you are heading off to Paris soon, here are 10 inspiring things that will make you feel good inside out:
