A small, beautiful flat re-designed with plywood

Since we stayed in a lovely loft apartment renovated with eco-friendly material in Cap-Breton, plywood is fast becoming one of my favourite material. It has the benefit of being affordable while adding warmth and textures to an interior. As we are currently tackling two renovation projects and will re-design a flat in Paris next year, I thought it would be good to show you how to make the most of plywood.

A bit of inspiration for the weekend… I’m in love these felt shades that were custom-made by i29 for this project. Isn’t this duo gorgeous? We have friends staying with us this weekend so it will be two days filled with good food, good wine, laughter, trips to the skatepark with the kids, eating oysters and chilling out around Steve’s BBQ wrapped in super soft jumpers. What are you up? 1. | 2. |3. | 4. | 5. | 6.

5 things I want right now!

This is my favourite look at the moment. It’s easy going, versatile and you can change/update the whole outfit by changing your clutch, replace the top by a basic v-neck t-shirt in charcoal, light grey or white and wear a parka or this nice grey coat. 1/This leather jacket which is made of soft panelled lambs leather (a must-have!) 2/ These boyfriend jeans by Current Elliot. I’m also loving this pair from Hush and this one from Monki 3/ This leopard clutch by Clare Vivier which I should have got ages ago 4/A pair of Stan Smith which has been pretty much the only pair I wore when I was in Paris early this week 5/ This lovely top by Isabel Marant (once I get my acts together, I will list a few things from Marant which are actually too big for me) SHOP THE POST:

We did lots of sports, Mila Sienna had a ball skating. We ate healthily, slept well, caught up with friends and in the end, everyone had an amazing holiday and we all trimmed down. Less than 2 hours away from our holidays home, it’s an area we know well. We had planned a trip to San-Sebastian or Biarritz if the weather was bad but it turned out absolutely gorgeous for two weeks so no sightseeing for us but we did a lot of sports and a bit of shopping. If you are looking at visiting the area in the future, here are 10 of my favourite things to do in Cap-Breton & Hossegor.   TAKE A 5-DAYS SURFING COURSE Steve, Mila and I had surfed before in Devon and Biscarosse but it was a new thing for Elodie and Lily and they both loved it. We did our course at the Cactus Surf School in Cap-Breton and I can’t …
