5 tips to curate your Pinterest

Here is my first exciting 2016 new project + a Pinterest tutorial for you with 5 useful tips you need to implement right now… Do you remember last year I said I would be working on new creative projects this year!? This is it! Following 10 years of experience, building and raising international awareness on the BODIE and FOU brand, organising brand collaborations with iconic brands like Vipp, The Simple Things magazine in the UK and France and as a Social Media Expert at the Airbnb Conference, I have been working these past few months, on a series of social media and styling workshops. These workshops will be designed to help independent concept stores and small Designers to achieve organic growth, to gain PR in national and international magazines below and above-the-line like we did for BODIE and FOU, to increase brand awareness, sales and to help you to find your voice through a series of social media and styling workshops so you can connect with your customers. The first workshops will take place in France and London from …

Travel tips for Sydney, Australia

Travelling to Sydney

We are going to Sydney and I’m SO excited, I haven’t been there for two decades! It looks like my 4 feel-good things to achieve this year are onto a good start (have you written down yours yet?) When Steve and I fell in love nineteen years ago and decided to spend our lives together, besides the fact that I was super fit and he had hair :-), we agreed to live our lives like a big Adventure and one of the things we wanted to do, was moving to Sydney. So we’re not moving there (yet!) but I’m relishing the idea to experience Sydney again as a local, in case one day we decide to move there, sell our home in London. That’s why I need your help… I would love to get your travel tips to make the most of Sydney as a local. I know a lot of my readers come from Australia and I would be hugely grateful if you could share some travel tips on which areas to stay by the beach. I’m thinking Bondi beach, North Bondi but there …

15 ISABEL MARANT MUST-HAVES IN THE SALE

15 Isabel Marant Must-haves in the Sale

As you know, I’m a huge fan of Isabel Marant‘s style (I love her workplace too!). I have pieces I bought at full price and others I found on websites that sell pre-owned luxury fashion like Vestiaire Collective, Vide-Dressing and sometimes Ebay. The key things to bear in mind when buying an Isabel Marant must-have or for any pieces from your favourite Designer, are: Buy it because it fits your style and personality (I don’t like everything she does or neither does everything suits my body shape, so choose wisely. Work out the cost-per-wear (Total cost of the item/ estimated number of days you’ll wear it = the cost per wear). I live in my wedged sneakers in Winter time and in my Dickers boots in Summer time so the cpw is pretty low compared to the pair of high-heels I would wear less. Try the outfit in shop first to work out your size so once the Sale is on, you know exactly what outfit and size to get. Be patient and enjoy the process. Personally I draw more satisfaction from adding a key piece …

Finding motivation to work out is half the battle so if you’re struggling, here are 8 tried & tested fitness motivation tips which will get you back on track! These fitness motivation tips are the ones I find most useful and they usually help me to go back on track once I’ve fallen off the wagon and we all do! Fitness motivation tip 1: As I exercise first thing in the morning (I really can’t be bothered in the evening!), I usually find that checking my favourite fitness accounts on Instagram when I go to bed, motives me to work out in the morning the day after. My current favourite accounts are @kaylaitsines @barrebody (stunning) @selfmagazine @clean_eating_alice (for clean eating inspo) @amberdodzweit (for badass girls) and @biancamaycheah who I found uplifting and beautiful. Fitness motivation tip 2: The other thing I do is treating myself with new gear and when the sale is on, it is the perfect time to grab a few goodies for less money. Always style-conscious, I love wearing all black when I work out. It kind of limit the damages …

5 feel-good things to achieve in 2016

4 feel-good things to achieve in 2016

This is it…1st day of 2016! I’m so excited! I’ve always loved the beginning of a New Year. While some people may think it doesn’t change anything, for me it changes a lot of things. It’s a new beginning, the chance to re-invent myself, to look at things that happened in my life, that made me grow and make some adjustments, work out what worked for me last year and made me happy and what didn’t. Do you feel that way too? There is a lot of things I want to achieve this year business wise but I haven’t put them down in writing yet. I’m in the final stage of turning the page on a 10 years adventure with the shop and I’m pleased to say that I’m doing it in the best possible way because someone who has a similar aesthetics to mine is taking over and I know the shop will be in good hands… However, from a personal level, they are four things I really want to achieve this year…
