Friday already! When did this week go!? I’m trying to stick to a regular editorial calendar…it’s not happening yet (one for March mini-goals). How was your week? Anything you’re proud of achieving? I’m still sticking to my 3 sessions a week of BBG and clean eating, the only thing I’m struggling to fit it is LISS between them but we are off to Portugal tonight for a week so I’m hoping to catch up on these there.
How are you doing with your new year resolutions? Are you feeling upbeat and motivated or defeated and a bit down? If you need a little boost, let me share with you 6 tips of mine to build willpower and stay focused…
Whether you are planning to stay in for Valentine’s Day* or are looking for Spring-inspired table settings, here are two dining areas that I find really pretty and romantic and which are fairly easy to re-create in your home. Both rooms are really nice and calming but I have to say, although I’m usually an all white interiors person, I’m really drawn to the soft pink above. It is SO pretty, don’t you think? It feels romantic but not over the top and it has a lovely, fresh, Scandi meets Parisian feel to it.
The Sale season is almost over and new things are hitting the shops so I had great fun putting this 5 Things I Want Right Now! look together today. I think it’s pretty much everything I love for a mid-season look until Summer arrives and wear white, white and more white on sun kissed skin. < 1/ The new Hush SS16 collection looks fab and I’m really loving this military Sadie shirt to wear open on a V neck tee-shirt, white or black. 2/I also love the retro look of this Los Angeles tee (50% OFF!) from Mango 3/How nice are these fringed black ankle boots from Chloé!? 4/I think this leopard clutch by Clare Vivier would look awesome 5/Last but not least, I’m loving these leather skinny pants (60% OFF!) from Isabel Marant although I’m secretly digging these gold ones. If you love Isabel Marant, check out my selection of 15 Isabel Marant must-haves in the sale. Have a great weekend! SHOP THE STORY:
I really love all the natural accents in this home and especially this version of the Lama chair from Zanotta. I had this image on my Pinterest board for ages. So today, let me show you the rest of this beautiful Italian home with natural accents which exudes Summer holidays and let’s imagine just for a few minutes, that we can all spend a bit of time there enjoying nice Italian food and lovely Italian weather… Are you with me on this? This beautiful Italian home is the holidays home of Designers Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba (who designed the Lama chair above) and is located in the South Eastern part of Italy. Originally an old 17th-century oil mill, the couple renovated this gorgeous building by modernising the space while respecting some of the original features and adding some of their most iconic creations and a few custom pieces. The result is a breathtaking space where natural light flows. The dining table below was a commission of their own design from Exteta and paired it with Abanica chairs by Oscar Tusquets for Driade. The ceramic centrepiece …
I came across this beautiful hand-knit chandelier while working on my forthcoming house tour and felt compelled to share it with you…Such an exquisite piece!
Have you grabbed some serious bargains in the sale? I got a pair of boyfriend jeans and a pair of black sequin leggings for 5 euros each. It wasn’t planned but it certainly made my day! Since a good quality winter coat can be expensive, sale are a great time to grab a beautiful one from your favourite designer for a third of the price so I’ve rounded up 12 beautiful winter coats to get in the sale and some are up to 60% OFF. Enjoy!
How was your weekend? We spent a great, rainy weekend in Bordeaux with our friends, hanging out at DARWIN, the most inspiring, eco-friendly project in Bordeaux, which is also fast becoming one of the top must-see places in town, walking around and seeing a great exhibition at the modern art museum CAPC.
