My top 5 Message t-shirts of this season

My top 5 Message t-shirts of this season

Alice, who I photographed last week, wears the “Females of the future” t-shirt from Topshop I got for Mila last time I was in London. Mila is getting at the age where she is borrowing more and more from my wardrobe and personally, I don’t feel ready to hang out my Converse, Stan Smith or cool sweatshirts anytime soon so size (and stains!) permitting, we are starting to get a bit of crossover in the fashion department. Since I did a round-up of my favourite message sweatshirts last week, I thought I would treat you with my current favourite message t-shirts ;-) My top 5 message t-shirts are: This “Afraid of Nothing” tee which is reflecting my current state of mind, “I’m the Boss” tee-shirt which cracks me up, This “Keep it simple” tee which is how I roll This “Palm Beach” t-shirt for its 70s vibe and this “The Future is Unwritten” t-shirt because we can make our own destiny And I’ve added a few more + some cool sweatshirts I spotted below. Which one do you like the most? //Photography: Karine Köng …

Think less…

I’ve always loved message t-shirts or sweatshirts and so does Mila now. We found this one at Pimkie a couple of days ago and I may go back to the shop tomorrow to see if I can get one for myself. Psssst….if you don’t yet, you can follow my new Instagram dedicated to my portrait photography here or drop me an email if you want to work with me. SHOP THE STORY:

White bedroom + white floorboards

White bedroom + white floorboards

Here is a sneak-peek of our white bedroom with white floorboards and if you are in need of new bed linens, you may find this post useful. We had some guests that had stained some of our bed linens with pizza and wine so I had to purchase new bed linens from The White Company and Muji. From Muji, I got these soft washed duvets for all the single beds in our home. Five years ago, I had bought an organic white duvet cover from Muji for Mila’s bedroom and at the time, I wish I had bought more because the cotton had a really nice texture that felt like linen. I don’t think these are organic but they still have a really nice texture to them. Made.com has also some nice stonewashed linens. I recently bought this Brisa stonewashed linen bed set in pure white for our home in France but I haven’t unpacked it yet. For our bedroom and the bedroom in the loft conversion, I ordered the Savoy duvet cover in white. I had …

How to style your dining table for Easter

How to style your dining table for Easter

I’ve never really decorated a table for Easter before but then I saw these eggs in a vase on Pinterest and it inspired me to make my own ‘pastel’ version with left-over paint I had and use my beautiful tableware designed by Sophie Conran for Portmeirion. It was really easy to do and turned out to be very pretty too so I’m really pleased with the whole look of our Easter table. I also put together a super easy family menu which you will have no problem replicating. STARTER: AVOCADO ON TOAST, POACHED EGG & ASPARAGUS WRAPPED IN PARMA HAM Since I’m on my 5th week of #Iquitsugar (refined sugars) and I’m foodie at heart, it’s important I treat myself to food that feels hearty and tasty and I absolutely loved this “entrée” which I served on Sophie Conran for Portmeirion bistro plates.A couple of tips for you…Cooking your asparagus with a spoon of baking soda will keep them green and the best way to make poached eggs is to add white vinegar to your boiling …
