A trip to Paris is always a good idea n’est-ce-pas?
So let me show you this eclectic, family Parisian flat which is a gem of creativity and personality.
READ ON…
This beautiful flat with view on the Eiffel Tower is the home of Ramdane Touhami and Victoire de Taillac-Touhami who created this sublime boutique Buly 1803 (see photos here) and yes you can add this boutique to your list of places to see next time you’re in Paris!Parents of three children, their home is a colourful penthouse on the rue du Bac (not far from the Musée Rodin) with “very un-Parisian proportions,” according to Victoire, meaning the place is luminous, wide and spacious.
I love the family portrait above the green sofa. Such a nice and personal keepsake.Far from this beautiful Italian home with natural accents or this architectural home with black cladding, this Parisian flat is a happy display of the family’s multiple passions in art, design and fashion.
The lounge (see below) with midcentury classic designs like the Vitra Lounge chair and the Barcelona daybed by Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe is definitively my favourite room. Look at the view….can you imagine yourself working from home on a Spring day, windows opened and each time you lift your head from your laptop, there is Miss Eiffel to look at… #pricelessWhile I’m usually drawn to more uncluttered, white interiors, I have a real soft spot for this place which reminds me of my parents’ home….the shelves filled with books, the knicks knacks, the vintage treasures found in brocante and flea markets, the treasures accumulated over the years. It feels very French don’t you think?
The dining room is quite something with walls painted dark eggplant and partly covered with metallic wallpaper. If you like this style, Laura Ashley has some gold wallpaper, in fact, all the wallpaper collection is 50% until Sunday! If you fancy something bold but slightly more settle, I think this Fornasetti wallpaper would look absolutely gorgeous.
What do you think of this place? Is there any specific detail that stroke a chord with you?

Despite being spacious it gives a homely, cosy feel. The dining room gives off a happy sunny vibe. I love a house that looks used and lived in and shows the character of the family! Great post :-) Xx
Great & awesome
Thanks!
