This bathroom with its concrete basin has caught my eye.
Bathrooms with a concrete basin have a timeless appeal. You can check my Pinterest for more inspiration here.
This one is a great example of the type of bathrooms I would love to design for our home in London or our holiday home in France.
Although I couldn’t find other pictures, this bathroom seems pretty spacious. You can spot a large walk-in shower behind the shower screen with two shower heads and a bathtub.
I suspect the entrance is somewhere on the other side. It doesn’t seem to be enough space between the glass screen and the concrete basin to get it.
A few details I love:
- the recess in the shower. I haven’t come across bathroom accessories nice enough to be drilled into my bathroom tiles and I hate those stainless-steel shelves you hang on the shower screen.
- the marble floor: Its contrast with metro tiles feel industrial yet luxurious
- And obviously this concrete basin; Its width feels spacious and I envision it to be in some cool, loft apartments in New-York…
What do you think?
For me it looks perfect, simple, light, very sophisticated, I can’t wait to see your version of it. Hugs!
i think it’s great. i love the sense of space and the recess in the shower.
simply great…love the “sink” – is this made of beton? Great great…and the big “shower-area”. But I would miss a little bit more decoration and some baskets ;o)
have a inspiring day today! geisslein
wow fabulous look at that showerhead! love the tiles & concrete sink. dayle
Love the concrete sink, the white tiles and the marble! I would just add some wood (or maybe that is a wooden bench already underneath the sink?)
I love concrete bathrom… I designed our concrete worktop (a lot smaller than this one :) for our shower room in France!and it’s easy to clean ;) the look is great and it feels natural, organic…
Juste parfait !
Love it – Thats just me!
Have a lovely day / Tina

A perfectly balanced mix of shiny and dull, old and new, natural colour and monotone.
