Holiday home in Ibiza Finca style

We are being blessed with great weather in the Bay these last few days so I’m all about beach, summer vibes and making the most of it while it lasts…Since you all loved this feel-good, family home in Biarritz so much, today I’m taking you further south direction Ibiza to check another great home and get some inspiration…

This holiday home is a new built by Blakstad Design Consultants but was conceived with the style of the traditional fincas* in mind to reflect the typical architectural style of the island. Like the beautiful houses I posted during our last family trip to Portugal (here on Instagram), it’s all about white walls and natural touches which I love.

*Spanish farmhouses Some of the furniture are slightly too rustic and heavy for my tastes and if it was mine, I would have lighten up the interior with white furniture to accentuate the beams but I really love the feeling of space in this house and frankly, give me white washed walls, exposed wood beams and a polished concrete floor and I’m sold.There are a few details I find very inspiring like the way they built storage using traditional doors (above) and I’m a massive fan of the straw roof in the patio (below) which screams Summer holidays……and of course the pool!!Which detail (s) do you love the most about this house (besides the pool :-)) ?
