Beautiful guesthouse in Brussels

I fell for this guesthouse in Brussels years ago and it’s only recently when I was flicking through my old issues of Marie-Claire Maison that I recalled it.
I’m in love with this floor to ceiling open-shelf in the kitchen that displays an eclectic mix of crockery, china and glassware. Not really for those who loves the minimalist look but I love how homely it feels….I can see myself coming down in the morning wearing nice PJs from Hush and long winter socks to drink my tea from a large ceramic bowl…
Originally, the building was a mirror factory which little by little, the owner Philippe transformed into a beautiful urban sanctuary.

This lovely place has 5 bedrooms. The one below is called “la Vie d’Artiste’ and looks like what could have been the room of a poet like Baudelaire. The painted wall behind works nicely as a headboard.
