I would love to get your feedback on our latest catalogue

Here is my latest baby…A small yet beautiful, inspiring catalogue, packed with styling & decorative ideas to show you how to create inspiring, welcoming and beautiful family homes (you can view it on issuu here).While it’s lot of hard work to put something like this together (and it costs an arm!), I thoroughly enjoy the creative process and it’s quite amazing after months of hard work for us to hold a print copy in our hands (no it doesn’t break my heart when you want to be taken off our list…#just a little #ItTotallyBreaksMyHeart #labouroflove #justkidding).We won an Award with our first catalogue but I’m specially proud of this one because this time, I was able to style everything so there isn’t a single spread I don’t like but I have my favourites…OK.. I’m in love with our NATURALS // moodboard on page 4 & 5, it’s a collection that I sourced when I went to Paris at the beginning of the year and that really inspired me.Unfortunately, one of these gorgeous chopping boards is already sold out …

Next Friday, our new catalogue will land on our UK customers doorsteps and I can’t wait to hear your reactions. I genuinely think it’s our best ever! In the past, I had to let go of things because we didn’t have the time or budget to shoot things the way I had envisioned them and that’s ok. Wow…it has been very busy today!I was planning to show you Mila’s bedroom update but I will do it over the weekend.Between our VIP Enews that went out yesterday and our BODIE and FOU Autumn catalogue* that landed on our customers’ doorsteps today, it has been totally mad!We have packed so many order for our beautiful linen collection to send all over the place, it’s insane! but it makes me really really happy because its success means that we will be able to have more colours in our Spring/Summer collection.I already have the styling in mind and I can’t wait to start working on a few kids rooms (watch out for the Spring/Summer 2013 catalogue!)Last but but not least (bear with me…this is my “Award-winning” kind of thank you speech…), I would also like to thank from the bottom of my heart, our hard-working, passionate and dedicated little team especially Sophie who masters catalogue production & deadlines like no-one, Francois for his amazing photos and Doryan who recently joined us and has been very busy with the new collection and …

We just received the first copies of our Autumn catalogue* which is being mailed to customers on Friday. It’s always quite something for Soph’ and I to see months of hard work finally in a print form. One week to go and we wil receive the first copies of new Autumn catalogue…I’m super excited! It has been a mammoth job for our team between the new site, the new collection and the Christmas catalogue which is bigger than our Summer one but everything looks amazing! One of my favourite spread is the WOOD+COPPER+LINEN shot by Francois which I styled. OK I admit I’m totally biased given that everything we put in our collection are things we love but this beautiful washed linen collection just makes my heart beat a bit faster. When we shot the cover of our Summer catalogue, I couldn’t resist and treated myself with the blue grey duvet cover and since then added the pure white duvet cover. Elodie bought the soft grey duvet cover which she mixed with white pillow cases – Gorgeous! One gorgeous new print and new hair…

It’s not very often that I post images of myself (like never!) but yesterday we had a photoshoot + interview in my home for The Scotland on Sunday magazine (which will get featured this weekend) so I went to the ‘haircoiffeur’ (hairdresser) as Mila says.Once the photoshoot was over with Debra Hurford Brown, the photographer sent by the newspaper, Francois and I carrying on styling the new BODIE and FOU collection which includes this gorgeous SMALL TALK print I took home and he also took a few portraits of me while the blow-dry was still looking good… The print is by One Must Dash, a creative label set up by two talented Swedish girls: Anki Josefsson & Anneli Sandström who made a gorgeous collection of prints exclusively available for BODIE and FOU.
