Copycats, Copyright Infringement and Social Media Etiquette Part 2

I was planning a nice post on fashion but once again I had to deal with copyright infringement. This is getting SO boring…I would rather write about things that inspire me but yet, while this is still happening to myself and my creative peers, I will not give up the fight. If every time I mention this, someone learns about copyright infringement, then it’s better than nothing.Last week alone, I dealt with a copyright infringement issue in Denmark on Monday and ended the week with one in the US so here is the deal (or rather the definition): Copyright infringement is the use of works under copyright, infringing the copyright holder’s exclusive rights, such as the right to reproduce, distribute, display or perform the copyrighted work, or to make derivative works, without permission from the copyright holder, which is typically a publisher or other business representing or assigned by the work’s creator.In P-L-A-I-N language, it means that you can NOT use an image for commercial use that you do not own.
