Moodboard inspired by Paris…

In about 30min, I will head off to Gare du Nord to catch the Eurostar and go back to London. I had such a cool time. The weather was fab, I caught up with lots of friends at the weekend and still managed to run 3 times with Elodie early in the morning which makes me very happy but usually, I can’t be bothered doing anything when I’m travelling.  M&O was tiring, it’s a massive show and you spent a lot of time walking but I have found some really gems, some beautiful things for kids that give me butterflies, a gorgeous bag for men and lots of ideas. Until I see you on the other side of the Channel, here is a little mood board inspired by Paris…   1. Paris map print 2. Decorative hearts 3. Industrial clip on light 4. Birds clothes pegs used as paper clips Dans 30min, je vais aller a la Gare du Nord pour prendre mon train direction London. J’ai passé 4 jours géniaux. Il a fait super …

Bonjour mon coussin

Today I received a lovely email from Claire Eglizeaud et Paul Moreau, the French stylist and designer behind Bonjour mon Coussin. They’ve designed a fantastic range of cushions which are inspired by vintage maps of Paris or vintage bus and tube tickets….and their cushions are very affordable! Only 34 Euros which is perfect if you want to update a tired sofa in no time. I had read lots of good things about Bonjour mon Coussin before and remembered thinking it was cool to see some great designs coming from Bordeaux, which is where I went to Uni. Here are my favourites…inspired by Russia, old advertising, a vintage optician poster and even a copy of a wedding certificate from the registry office. All the cushions are made in France To buy one of these lovely, quirky cushions, simply go to Their site is available in English too.

Jacqueline Morabito: my interiors fix

To start your weekend in a relaxing mood, here are more inspiring interiors pictures from Jacqueline Morabito…. For someone as talented and renowned as Morabito, it’s actually quite tricky to find photos of her designs but I’m delighted I’ve found these on the front cover of I’m home, a Japanese magazine. The right one is a picture of her lounge and I’ve always loved the simple lines of the fireplace and the furniture she designed.

Our favourite Interior Designer: Jacqueline Morabito

Jacqueline Morabito is without a doubt one of the most talented French Interior Designer & Architect and Elodie & I have always been huge fans of her simple, contemporary, minimalist style which she often mixed beautifully with vintage pieces. Below are pictures of a house she designed in the south of France (in the heart of an oak grove) now on the market…in case you were looking for a beautiful French home to live in happy ever after. Morabito’s style hugely influenced us when we designed the BODIE and FOU website and put together the first collection….In fact, she is one of the few persons I would love to
