Favourite beauty products

I’m a huge fan of AESOP and I love using this Primrose hydrating cream in the morning. Once I have finished the pot, I clean it and use it to store small things like elastic bands, rings, health supplements when I travel, etc. OLAPLEX Hair protector is a product Steve brought me back from Cult Beauty. Love, love, love that product. It makes my hair stronger and shinier. I came across THE ORDINARY range when I was looking for something to stop my skin from being so dry. I use the 100% organic Rose hip seed oil in the evening and alternate with the 100% organic cold-pressed Argan oil. KIEHL’S is one brand I always get at the airport. I recently bought a bottle of the amino acid shampoo after getting hold of a sample and refill the sample bottle each time I travel. How about you? Which one(s) are your current beauty favorites!? How to care for dry hair

How to care for dry hair

How to care for dry hair is one question that comes back regularly. Whatever the nature of your hair, every woman (me included!) dreams of having beautiful, shiny, healthy hair. Unfortunately, dry hair is inevitable when your hair is constantly battered by heat styling tools, chemical treatments, sun, salt and pollution. Last week, I became blonde (literally!). While I’m now used to this new colour and I’m starting to like it, I also noticed that my hair got really dry following the dye. It was time to take matters into my own hands and put as much care into my hair the way I do it with my face and skin. I first tried a DIY hair mask: 2ggs, 1 tbsp of honey, 2 tbsp of yogurt. Egg yolk is rich in fats and proteins and is also naturally moisturizing while the white contains the bacteria-eating enzymes that remove unwanted oils. So it supposed to moisturize dry and brittle hair. Frankly, it wasn’t a success. I mixed a whole pot but it was super cold so …

10 coupes de cheveux courts portées par nos françaises préférées

10 ways to rock short hair like French women

Haven’t you felt like a million $$$$ after coming out of a hairdresser appointment? It is a sure way to look and feel good providing you’ve found a Hairdresser you trust and love of course! I have now and she got me hooked on Moroccan Oil products. Especially the moroccanoil treatment which enables me to nourish and style my hair dry and the moroccanoil heat styling protection, a necessary evil if you’re going to use a hair dryer (check the new range here) or a hair curler (my favourite for wavy hair). So if you’re in need of a change to start fresh with a new look, new vibe, new you, here are 10 ways to rock short hair like French women. This doesn’t mean that women from other nationalities don’t sport short hair well, of course, they do! I’m obsessed with Alexa Chung and Uma Thurman’s hair here but being French and all that, that’s the angle I’m going for ;-) CHECK THE NEW L.K. 8 coupes de cheveux pour l'été

8 pretty hairstyles for the Summer

During Summertime, I like to go for hairstyles that are fairly low-maintenance, like the beach wave or something shorter easy to style. When the sun is out, we should be outside enjoying the nice weather while it lasts instead of being stuck in the bathroom, right!? Right now, my hair is far too long so most of the time, it ends up tied up in a messy bun when I work on my laptop, in a ponytail when I go surfing and down when I go out so it would be nice to get something a bit shorter and fresher for the holidays. Here are 8 haircuts that caught my eye for this Summer and which may work for you too.1. Cameron 2. Sienna 3. Alexa 4. Clemence 5. Jules 6. Vanessa 7. Uma 8. Nadia Which haircut do you prefer? I’m loving Uma’s…I think it’s super cute, don’t you think!?

How to rock sexy, wavy mid-length hairstyles

I’m off to Paris on Friday and I’ve booked an appointment with my sister‘s hairstylist who made me look like a Goddess last time she cut my hair. When I kicked off my journey at the start of the year to become a 40* something leaner, fitter, sexier version of myself, I also promised myself that I would 1) cut my hair shorter, 2) make the time to master blow-dry like I’m coming out of the hairdresser…you know when it’s super bouncy, silky and glamorous and 3) doing make-up like Lisa Eldridge. Since I’m turning 46 on Monday, I thought there is no time for new beginnings than now so here is the look I’m going for:

Hair envy + my fav’ Winter’s skin & hair products

While writing this Outfit perfection post on faux-fur last week, I came across Fearne Cotton’s haircut here. I love how fearless she is with her hair…Wearing red lipstick, I thought Fearne’s hairdo looked very sexy and similar to French actress Clemence Poesy’s haircut. Since then I have been pondering whether I should just go for the chop, go back to having a fringe or do both… They only thing that stops me is no longer be able to do…

5 EFFORTLESS HAIRDOS FOR THE BEACH

My hair is naturally wavy which is a blessing on holidays not so much the rest of the year when I’m after a sleeker look. Mila on the other hand, who incidentally told me that… she wanted to have “Live to sing” tattooed in her arm and change her hair to have it option1) dyed in blue or option 2) have it long on one side and shaved on the other side (she is 9…)…has perfect beach hair.As perfect and beautiful her hair is, between salt, sun, wind, it gets tangled easily so here are 5 of my favourite and effortless hairdos for the beach to keep yours and your daughter’s hair under control If you misssed it, check out my post about 5 messy buns here. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.Sharing is caring ❤️ Leave a comment and let’s have a chat… http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/UxVs
