Wow… it has been such a cool week with lots of good things happening and great meetings! I think the highlight for me, was seeing our home in Living At Home magazine and my meeting with Gervasoni, the design company that edits the beautiful Ghost sofa designed by Paola Navone, I have at home. The stool behind Mila is the pure nature stool(which we supplied to Philippe Starck’s Mama Shelter in Istanbul, Paris and Bordeaux). The table is an old one from Habitat but Made has some great one and of course BODIE and FOU too. My ceramic dishes, on the vintage wooden rack, are a mix from the Vera Wang’s Naturals collection, Ikea, vintage and the Dadasi collection designed by one of my favourite designers: Nelson Sepuvelda. //Styling: Lykke Foged, Photography: Morten Holtum
While I was in France last week, Agata from Rafa-Kids posted a picture of our home in VT Wonen on Instagram. I got really excited because I love VT Wonen. I don’t read Dutch but I’m a huge fan of the styling of the magazine and I often pin their images on Pinterest and I also knew, they were images I had never seen before so I was really eager to see the whole feature. Our home was styled and photographed by Danish Stylist Lykke Foged and Photographer Morten Hotlum last September. I hadn’t heard from them since then but considering our home has been photographed several times, I think they did a great job and managed to create something new and fresh.
Our London home is being featured in the July issue of NZ House & Garden! I love it when we are in an Australian or New-Zealander magazine. We have so many friends and family over there, it makes the feature a bit more special. Mila made me laugh when she read the feature… Mila: “I love how my bedroom looks on the picture…” Me: “Yes me too! Well…Feb has been a great month PR wise….First there was this interview on interior trends 2013 in RED magazine and today I received the pdf of my home, featured in ELLE DECORATION (Feb issue out now). I think the same photos got also published in a Danish or Norwegian magazine but I lost track (maybe BOLIG).I know some of you are already familiar with my home after seeing it in MILK magazine but lots of new people joined us, I’ve added a few links at the end of the post to some of the products featured on the photos.Lounge: The white sofa is the Ghost sofa by Paola Navone (one of my favourite designers along with Jacqueline Morabito).You can read about the Koushi pendant light I made for my lounge here and the pallet table here.
