Today’s selection is pretty much all the basics I love and they will take you through Autumn looking like a sexy mama! 1/I featured the black version of these boots here along with this beautiful Tom Ford pink handbag but the leopard pony Alexis ankle boots is wow…Well done Boden! 2/I’m also loving this Limited Edition trench coat from the White Company, nice colour and cut! 3/This Lyla coin purse that can fit in my clutch is perfect to go with the whole look or our new weekender which is flying off the shelves 4/A basic t-shirt because can’t have too many V-neck t-shirts 5/and this pair of ripped skinny jeans from Mango SHOP THE POST:

This is my favourite look at the moment. It’s easy going, versatile and you can change/update the whole outfit by changing your clutch, replace the top by a basic v-neck t-shirt in charcoal, light grey or white and wear a parka or this nice grey coat. 1/This leather jacket which is made of soft panelled lambs leather (a must-have!) 2/ These boyfriend jeans by Current Elliot. I’m also loving this pair from Hush and this one from Monki 3/ This leopard clutch by Clare Vivier which I should have got ages ago 4/A pair of Stan Smith which has been pretty much the only pair I wore when I was in Paris early this week 5/ This lovely top by Isabel Marant (once I get my acts together, I will list a few things from Marant which are actually too big for me) SHOP THE POST:

We had a few drinks last night at La Co(o)rniche (mentioned here) which was really cool and then two minutes later, we got this! Massive rainfall but it was good fun because it wasn’t cold at all just very wet so everyone carried on drinking and eating while admiring the Bay of Arcachon. Slowly but surely, I’m mentally preparing myself to a cooler season hoping that the weather in Cap-Breton where we will be based for the next weeks will enable us to enjoy a bit more sunshine.

It’s the first time in ten years since I launched BODIE and FOU that I managed to be in France for three months in a row. Last June, we made the jump and outsourced the dispatch of our orders to a UK fulfilment company and while there is still a lot of things to sort out, this change has allowed the team and I to work from wherever we want. For me, the most important thing is that I can be near Mila during the whole Summer when normally she goes to my parents for the whole Summer and we only see her two weeks. Even if I’m working, I have now a bit more flexibility to do yoga on the beach with my sis’ first thing in the morning or to take the girls to the skate-park and work late at night. As the weather is really nice and as we have one more family holidays (surfing in Cap-Breton) at the end of August, allow me to hang on a bit more onto this Summer feeling before we …

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’m currently on holidays in beautiful Croatia (travel blog post to follow) and while Rovinj is a fantastic place to visit and has many wonderful things to offer, shopping for fashion has proven to be, well…a bit challenging :-) So if you’re heading there, here a 5 things you should really pack in your suitcase. 1/ Pretty tops covering as little skin as possible like this Palm Beach top or this Grecian top or Grecian dress now 50% OFF. 2/Pack several bikinis too as you’ll spend hours in the water! I usually alter between a bandeau bikini top (matching bottom here) and an halter bikini top to avoid suntanned marks. Hush has some fantastic swimwear in their Summer Sale and I’m also loving this flattering Boyleg swimsuit from Boden for watersports. 3/Light cotton shorts to go to the beach and this pretty pair of Nairobi silk shorts by Totême to go out (loving these Toulon silk wide-leg trousers too). 4/A great pair of sunglasses (mine are always Rayban) and a straw hat but you’ll find plenty of shops selling hats down here cheaper than in …

The weather has been amazing since I arrived in France but work and renovations projects have kept me inside the house. Nonetheless, I find it amazing to wake up in the morning, open the French doors to view the garden and have breakfast on our new deck. Here is my wish-list for this week, full of pretty things. It’s 35 degrees in France. It’s so hot that Steve & Mila had diner at the beach. No wonder why this kid doesn’t want to come back to London! 1/This beautiful Nestor leather bag by Jérôme Dreyffus has been on my wish list for a while (available in black here) 2/This boyfriend shirt from Hush and Denim shorts especially these from Ralph Lauren 3/I love having cosmetics in great packaging and this Fig + Yarrow sea scrub and Buttercream moisturiser are gorgeous 4/Of course, my beloved Isabel Marant Dickers boots which are so comfy that I wear mine with bare feet but if you can’t afford the real thing, these boots from Hush are a great alternative. 5/ and this new Melbourne print from our collection, which is hardly something to take to the beach but I’m re-decorating a house down there and today a few pretty things are heading to the coast and that includes this basket, this lovely marble chopping board and this gorgeous dark grey sofa. We had a lovely article yesterday in Homes & Gardens featuring our new Paola Navone wallpapers and in fact, I loved their whole selection of blue & white wares. The Ralph Lauren ceramics are very pretty, you should check it out.
