BODIE and FOU VIPP Blogger Styling competition: PLEASE VOTE

As you know from my Instagram feed, as part of our pop-up store at the Vipp flagship store in Copenhagen, we had a blogger styling competition and it was a really fun event! With its polished concrete tiles, white and dark grey walls, beautiful kitchen and bathroom equipment and natural light flowing, the Vipp store was the perfect venue.12 International talented bloggers, 4 teams, 4 stations to style: 2 kitchens, 1 dining table, 1 bathroom, 30 min to style each station. They could use anything in the shop (and they did!).Now the winning team is the team gathering the most likes on their Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and blogs and they need your help!Below is a sneak-peek of what all the teams have done. I’ve linked their Instagram feed to their first name so go on, discover all their very inspiring feeds and vote for as many photos from the styling competition as you wish. You can view all the images from the Blogger Styling competition on Instagram hashtag #bodieandfouvipp and I’ve linked everyone’s Instagram to their first name. Styling masterclass with Anouk B | Joyeuse Clique

20 bloggers… 5 nationalities… 2 days in Pernes-Les-Fontaines… 1 concept store as a playground = First blogger session organised by Joyeuse Clique at La Maison Pernoise which was just brilliant and definitively the best blogger meeting I’ve attended. The styling workshop was run by Anouk B who I absolutely adore but working, sleeping with her (we shared a bedroom) and talking with her about branding, styling, life etc… took my love for her to the next level (and dont get me started on her jumpsuit!) SLOW DESIGN | SLOW FOODING Developed around the aesthetics of the beautiful KINFOLK diners, our task on day one, was to style a table for the 50 guests coming for diner in the evening. I’m not sure if my photos are a credit to the final result but it was beautiful and so was the food prepared by Mistral Gagnant Food Truck. TRENDS STYLING Day 2: Anouk talked us through the various trends for 2014/2015 and then we have to pick one theme to style. I chose African Indigo…You can see …

April & May styling for ZARA

Gorgeous it was first time around, gorgeous it still is…and I’m talking about the styling my friend Jantine and Vivian from April & May did for the ZARA Baby Collection 2014. The only thing I regret is that sometimes makes that often…the ZARA collections feel a lot like a blank copy of Kids fashion labels which may not have the financial support and overheads that Zara has (and I do love ZARA)….

Today I love…

This styling by Emma Nunn for Weddings magazine…Beside the fact that Emma used our products for this shot, I can’t tell you how much I love the styling of this shot. I love the rawness of the brick wall contrasting with the organic shapes of the Dadasi collection, the soft white linen tablecloth from Zara Home and the Bamboo lamp…stylish yet natural and welcoming. // Photography: Max Attenborough, Styling: Emma Nunn

Black beauty & positive thinking

I started the day on Instagram posting this positive thinking quote and it worked wonder. My day has been filled with good news and truly amazing shots for our Christmas catalogue.I can’t get over how beautiful this photo François took today is and don’t get me started on this black cluster light.I have the 8-string white cluster light in my bedroom and in our home in France but the black one is quite amazing…especially against a dark wall.If you’re not a fan of his page yet, by all means follow him on Facebook here, you will make his day. Have a great evening xoxoLEAVE A COMMENT THANKS! http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/UxVs

Hydrangeas, baskets and the work of Emily Quiton, Photographer

When I was on holidays in France last week, I saw a really beautiful photo of our natural basket filled with Hydrangeas, in my Instagram feed.  I love Hydrangeas. My mum has some bright pink ones in her garden in France which look vibrant and beautiful and I think it is a very poetic and feminine flower, don’t you think? Those gorgeous images were taken by Emily Quinton, an Award-Winning Photographer and you can see more of these beauties on her blog: Start-up Wife. Emily also runs Floral Friday –  a weekly celebration of floral creativity on Instagram. Check it out, there are some really beautiful photos and some very talented people out there. Today is DAY-2 in Paris and Francois and I are shooting a beautiful, vegetarian cafe for The Simple Things magazine but if you can, try to get issue 14 (out now) which features Artisan and issue 15 (out soon), which will have the cafe we shot in Brooklyn. Have a great Sunday (the natural baskets are back in stock very soon!) LEAVE A COMMENT THANKS! http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/UxVs
