What are you up to this weekend? I’m driving Steve to the airport as he is off to join a friend in Argentina on a bike road trip. Travels are high on my priorities this year so when he asked me if he could do it and be away for 2 or 3 weeks, I was like “yes of course, go ahead, I wish I could come with you” but now it’s departure time, both of us are not looking forward to being apart from each other :-) Here are some cool, fun links for you: The Dune of Pyla (above), which is near our holiday home in the Bay of Arcachon has been listed as the second best beach in the World out of 50 by The Guardian! We are back in London for the weekend, catching up with friends, soaking up the city’s wonderful vibes…and sadly temporary “escaping” more bad news. As Charlie Chaplin said: “Nothing in this world is permanent, not even our troubles” so I wait…I wait for the moment to pass, I wait for this year to end because I’m sincerely hoping that next year will be better and then we can create new, happy memories and I’m listening to “Shake it Off” loudly. Steve mentioned going on holidays in Sydney last night when we caught up with our friends who are currently living in Singapore and my heart skipped a beat…I would love that… Right now, the weather is mild and I’m happy we are back together in our home. Have a wonderful weekend guy!

I’m deeply saddened and horrified by what happened last night in Paris and all my thoughts go to the families who lost friends, children, brothers and sisters, parents in these horrible attacks. A friend of mine wanted to attend the concert at The Bataclan but luckily, he couldn’t get a ticket. I’m also deeply saddened that we have to raise our children in a world where killing seems to be the only answer, surely there is another way!!? As John Lennon said: “it matters not who you love, where you love, why you love, when you love or how you love, it matters only that you love” Be safe and be strong.
