Totally loving the whole distressed jeans look here (minus the cigarette).
I gave up in 2012 after saying goodbye to her one more time and never looked back.
Between changing my eating habits and other good things I did for my well-being, drinking my 1.5 Lt of water a day and not smoking, my skin is looking a LOT better.
In a way, I’m glad I gave up in my forties when there was still time to recover from it.
How about you!? Have you ever smoked? Have you given up or trying to!?
Back to the distressed jeans…
Hush has always a great pair of boyfriend jeans in their collection.
I know, I know…if you’re about my age, you probably feel like distressed jeans & white tee is’ a look you sported when you were a teen in the 80s, right!?
Isn’t fashion an ongoing cycles of revivals
e ripped jeans outfits: The look first hit us in the 1980s, but the fashion faded like a bleach bath. Now it’s back with a vengeance, and it’s all about style. Consult bloggers like Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific, and Natalie Suarez of Natalie Off Duty, to see what we mean. Or check out Rihanna (if you’re not already doing so). She also knows a trend when she sees it, and has embraced this look one hundred percent.
1/ This fitted shirt from Boden is a classic. Simple, sexy and inexpensive, I would wear it with a pair of denim & à la Emmanuelle Alt (Editor of French Vogue). Definitively, one of my favourite looks.
2/ I’m loving this mid-blue denim shirt by Current/Elliott and their washed out sweatshirt.
3/ We are heading to the beach in France in 2 days, so I would love to have this Denim duffle bag by Herschel Supply.

Oh yes, gorgeous look. I gave up smoking about 10 years ago and I’m so happy to be free from it, it really was like a chain around me. But one of my favourite photos of me is with a cigarette in hand while I was living in France Ha! Mel x
Oh I didn’t know you lived in France Mel. Where about!?
I guess that’s where you met your husband :-)
Yes! I met him travelling through in my combi van and ended up living with him in Toulouse. I’m so torn between lifestyles now, wish I could put the best of each together and create my utopia:)
That’s a very cool story Mel… I met Steve at work, a lot less romantic 😂 but then I knew he was the one.
Still, a French girl and a kiwi guy living in London with a beautiful daughter and successful business is a pretty cool story too! Have a great day Karine. xx
thanks Mel :-))
Next february I gave up smoking for 10 years…. Can’t believe I ever loved it :/
So sexy! Love it!!
