It took me about 6 weeks to realise that the biker leather jacket I searched high & low for weeks in our home in London, was in one of our cupboards in France where I had left it last time I came down. I haven’t got this commuting between London and France quite sorted out yet :-) So I’m gonna wear mine today with leather trousers and since a lot of you loved the biker jackets I featured on yesterday’s post, Instagram and Facebook, I’ve put together my favourite looks for you below.
The one above is by Anine Bing ( it looks great doesn’t it!?). If you can’t get it, I’ve put a whole selection here in the shop. Since I live in my boyfriend jeans and Isabel Marant sneakers, these two looks below are probably the ones I wear the most and each time I see Jules’ hair, I keep thinking I should really go ombré. I think it is a hair do that would suit me, don’t you think?
I love the look below, with cropped trousers like the ones I featured yesterday at a bargain price or with a pair of chinos rolled up to the ankles and a pair of kitten heels …very feminine and sexy.
At weekends, leggings and Birkenstocks (the Arizona please) are perfect for a relaxed look. It works with Converse too (Chucks as you say in the US). Have you seen the new Isabel Marant slides with black soles!!?? WANT!

I was very jealous of your sequinned sweatshirt which I failed to find ( not surprisingly )in the bin end of the sale in H&M.
I know you are a keen Ebayer , but do you also use consignment shops? We have a very good one in North London which I highly recommend and is full of great bargains.
I got the same sequin sweatshirt for Mila yesterday in XS and they have a few left. What size are you? I’m happy to get it for you in France if you want to and then you can just pay for the sweatshirt + postage when I’m back in London.

Yes it sells second hand but people sell their clothes through the shop and they deal in high end labels like Celine Prada etc. Its in Hampstead. It’s like Vestiaire Collective but an actual shop.
Serious question! Do you ask permission before using other blog pix? Or is there a general understanding that it’s ok and that you’d remove anything if necessary? Just wondering for my blog! Too nervous to do it without permission so far… J

If I know the person who took the photo (i.e. another blogger or Interior Designer) I usually check with them. Otherwise I try to credit the original source using Google (if you right click you you can select “search google for this image”.
If I use images from a Photographer, Architect’s websites. I always ask for permissions. Usually Architects are happy to have their work promoted but Photographers can be sensitive about having their images all over the internet when they earn a living from copyrights.
Fashion is one of the hardest to credit. It’s a nightmare to find the original source so fashion is probably the only one I cant really credit but I try to link as much as I can. I hope this helps
