A few weeks ago, I updated the styling of one of the bedrooms in this holidays home which you can rent via Airbnb. Bearing in mind that the house is for sale and I can’t give it too much of a strong identity so everyone visiting it, can project their own style, I have decided to leave the walls white and add small styling touches to create a happy vibe.
This was an inexpensive styling job (only about 15 euros for the stretched canvas), a few tear sheets, my BE HAPPY print, some family photos and quotes found on Pinterest.
The house is now fully booked until early November but as soon as it is available, I will carry on my little revamp throughout the rest of the house.
In the meantime, I’m very pleased with the results. I love how the wooden frame of the canvas adds a natural touch that fits nicely with the headboard.
It has made the room a lot cosier and contributes to the relaxed vibe I’m aiming to bring to the house so guests staying can feel at home. The last guests staying left a lovely review saying they found the house very pleasant even when it’s raining outside.
I stayed there for three months after giving birth to Mila and I had lots of happy memories. It’s a house with good vibes. The shade above is the Norm 06 which is currently 35% off in our mid-season sale. If you wish to find out more details about the house for sale which is in the Bay of Arcachon, just drop me an email at [email protected]
Steve has also finished the shutters he designed to replace the old 70 metal ones that were a real pain to maintain. It was not exactly a cheap job like my styling job but I love them and I think we will take the concept further when we start our next renovations project.
Beautiful styling! As always.
Thank you Jill
