Our new Urbanears sound system

our new Urbanears home sound system

Just before Christmas, I got this beautiful minimalist grey speaker (see below) from Urbanears which has provided me with a lot of joy and our home got a new sound system which was badly needed. I often work from our dining table so it has been very relaxing and mood-enhancing to listen to some music or podcasts while working.

I’m also a huge fan of the simple design of these speakers that come in 6 different colours. The Baggen speaker in concrete grey, fitted perfectly the wall I  had recently painted in the lounge.
I mean, how often can you match your speakers with your walls or interior!??

I loved it SO much that I ordered the smaller version in pink for Mila to go with her recent bedroom makeover (see her teen’s desk area makeover here and how I made her bed comfier and cosier here). Our new Urbanears sound system

We had both her pink Stammen speaker and my grey Baggen speaker in the lounge over the Christmas holidays but now that everyone is gone and I’ve tidied our home, hers is going back to her bedroom tonight.

The beauty of the Urbanears speakers is that they are multi-rooms

This means that you can connect them between each other to play either the same music (I found this super useful when I listen to a podcast while pottering around the house) or set a different mood in each room. Our new Urbanears sound systemOur new Urbanears sound system

The connectivity is great too. Something we don’t always think about when purchasing new speakers but I can link up my Deezer account to the Urbanears speakers and play my favourite tracks.
Here is a playlist I put together last year, I’m currently putting one together for running. Our new Urbanears sound systemOur new Urbanears sound systemOur new Urbanears sound system

Last but not least, the sound is fantastic and I can even set up my speaker and manage  presets and multi-room settings, or adjust the equalizer from my iPhone but I haven’t got around to do it yet and I think I will wait for Steve to do it.

What colour (s) would you love for your home?
