It has been a pretty gloomy week on various levels so let’s lighten up things with a bit of fashion and it’s fridYEAH after all… I really love this all black look I posted on Instagram, and it’s pretty much my go-to outfit at the moment. It’s fashionable, comfy, easy to pull together with a hint of fashion. I usually pair it with an oversized coat and if the weather gets warmer, swap my black jumper for a white tee-shirt. Voilà, job done!
My friends and I were discussing Chloé bag over the weekend…. One of them was obsessed with the Faye bag. You may have seen the brown version on Lucy Williams’ arm from Fashion me Now. It’s a nice Chloé bag, but personally, I prefer the more boho versions like the Marcie shoulder bag, the Hudson bag with its swishy tassel or even better the Marcie tote (featured above). Since I’m off to Barcelona next week for two days for the launch of a printing product which is going to be very interesting for interior designers and creative people like you, this week’s look is about looking stylish and fashionably sexy in town. So here are the few things I’m obsessed with this week. I’m totally in love with this ruffle poplin blouse (2) I spotted on Happily Grey. The blouse is available at Nordstrom and would look fantastic with these boyfriend jeans or these slim-fit biker trousers. So excited by the Bank Holiday weekend! We’re off to Chez Juliette tonight at the beach before heading to Paris on Saturday morning for the weekend. How about you?? Any nice plans for the long weekend?
I’m not sure why but I’m feeling very attracted to nude and soft pink lately, considering I’ve never been a pink person but I find these soft hues very pretty and feminine. Steve is back from his road trip in South America so we are going out tonight to catch up on two weeks of date nights ;-)
Net-a-Porter is seriously a dangerous place to be at the moment. Each time I look at their sale, I spot something really nice like this pair of Chloé leather sandals Lucy from Fashion Me Now has been raving about. The thing for me is first, I hate clutter in the house. So I’m not going to get X amounts of paires of shoes just because they are in the sale. Secondly, I think now I have found the style that works for my figure and age, I want to get something that is really ME and I will wear as much as I wear my Isabel Marant pieces. Granted it took me a few months to get a pair of Stan Smith (they are 20% OFF on Zalando) but it turned out to be a good purchase (for me!) as I wear them weekly.
