So excited by the Bank Holiday weekend! We’re off to Chez Juliette tonight at the beach before heading to Paris on Saturday morning for the weekend. How about you?? Any nice plans for the long weekend?
I love wearing denim in Summer but today’s look is obviously influenced by my week in Portugal and the beautiful beaches from Grândola. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can follow my visual diary on Instagram. Have a great weekend!
When you can’t be bothered to get dressed and PJ day is not an option, teaming a good old Breton jumper with boyfriend jeans is the perfect combo for an off-duty look à la French.
This is my favourite look at the moment. It’s easy going, versatile and you can change/update the whole outfit by changing your clutch, replace the top by a basic v-neck t-shirt in charcoal, light grey or white and wear a parka or this nice grey coat. 1/This leather jacket which is made of soft panelled lambs leather (a must-have!) 2/ These boyfriend jeans by Current Elliot. I’m also loving this pair from Hush and this one from Monki 3/ This leopard clutch by Clare Vivier which I should have got ages ago 4/A pair of Stan Smith which has been pretty much the only pair I wore when I was in Paris early this week 5/ This lovely top by Isabel Marant (once I get my acts together, I will list a few things from Marant which are actually too big for me) SHOP THE POST:
I’m spending a bit of quality time with my sister Elodie and the girls which is always great so I thought I would do a post on her sense of style because I’m a big fan. I love her look here and how she wears her boyfriend jeans…laid-back but very feminine and stylish.
I’m so excited it’s almost the weekend…I have been drinking salted water to bring back my low blood pressure to normal and I can feel my energy coming back and the weather is just glorious!!! So here is what I really want this week!
Once upon a time (before motherhood), I was going to New-York every two years and one of my fav’ US shops to visit was J. CREW so last year, when we went as a family, Mila and I went on a shopping trip and got lots of gorgeous things for her including a pair of New Balance we couldn’t find in the UK. Now, J. CREW has 4 stores in London and a fantastic website that ships everywhere. If you’re not familiar with the brand and the fabulous Jenna Lyons, check out these four basics: 1. THE WHITE SHIRT (the one featured below is the Bib popover)
Totally loving the whole distressed jeans look here (minus the cigarette). I gave up in 2012 after saying goodbye to her one more time and never looked back. Between changing my eating habits and other good things I did for my well-being, drinking my 1.5 Lt of water a day and not smoking, my skin is looking a LOT better. In a way, I’m glad I gave up in my forties when there was still time to recover from it. How about you!? Have you ever smoked? Have you given up or trying to!? Back to the distressed jeans… Hush has always a great pair of boyfriend jeans in their collection. I know, I know…if you’re about my age, you probably feel like distressed jeans & white tee is’ a look you sported when you were a teen in the 80s, right!? Isn’t fashion an ongoing cycles of revivals e ripped jeans outfits: The look first hit us in the 1980s, but the fashion faded like a bleach bath. Now it’s back with a …
