How to style your home with picture frames

A 20 sqm2 flat with a beautiful gallery wall

Today’s house tours is a 20 sqm2 small space in Sweden with a beautiful gallery wall and a great example of how to decorate your home with art. The fact that it is, indeed a small space, makes it even more interesting. Each room is beautifully styled and there isn’t a single corner I don’t love. Proof that size really doesn’t matter and that you can create a real gem out of a small flat. Being an Interior Designer, Agathe worked out how to link these two spaces to create one inviting home. She first started to knock down a few partition walls and removed the false ceiling to gain more height. Luckily, this unrevealed perfectly preserved oak beams which she kept …

A small, beautiful flat re-designed with plywood

Since we stayed in a lovely loft apartment renovated with eco-friendly material in Cap-Breton, plywood is fast becoming one of my favourite material. It has the benefit of being affordable while adding warmth and textures to an interior. As we are currently tackling two renovation projects and will re-design a flat in Paris next year, I thought it would be good to show you how to make the most of plywood.

Flatsharing: my fav’ affordable styling tips to create a happy place

When Myrooms asked me to come up with a selection of decoration tips to create a home from home when flat sharing, I jumped at the opportunity because I’ve always been a firm believer that money doesn’t equal style…or taste for that matter and that you actually don’t need a massive budget to make a room looking really nice.
