In summertime, while I tend to live in denim shorts & white tee during the day…at night, I love nothing more than wearing a maxi or midi white cotton dress with a pair of flat sandals and I tend to stock up on them to be honest. It’s an easy, effortless, stylish look and white is great to show off your tan no matter your skin tone. Mango is usually a good place to find a Summer white dress with a bohemian feel. Street markets are also a great place to source some unique designs. I’ve found some real gems in the market near my holidays home and if you come to the Bay of Arcachon, let me know and I will give you some details. So far, my favourite this year is this Magnolia dress from Hush which happens to be in the sale! I love the fabric which feels a bit like linen and it has a beautiful, flattering cut. If you have a small upper body like mine but curves around the hips, it’s perfect. I’m …
Greece is one of those travel destinations that ticks many boxes in my book…I love mediterranean food and I’m quite happy to eat grilled fish, fresh salads with feta cheese and eggplants at each meal providing I don’t have to cook. The landscape in Greece is also very beautiful and as a white interiors lover, those little white houses with gorgeous blue accents scream Summer to me. Greece is also still reasonably affordable as a holiday destination. Umm…maybe one destination that I should add to my places to go for 2018. Have you been recently!?
Alice, who I photographed last week, wears the “Females of the future” t-shirt from Topshop I got for Mila last time I was in London. Mila is getting at the age where she is borrowing more and more from my wardrobe and personally, I don’t feel ready to hang out my Converse, Stan Smith or cool sweatshirts anytime soon so size (and stains!) permitting, we are starting to get a bit of crossover in the fashion department. Since I did a round-up of my favourite message sweatshirts last week, I thought I would treat you with my current favourite message t-shirts ;-)
Week 2 (and last) of our stay in Hossegor and we all feel like we could have stayed here for a month. The weather has been absolutely amazing and everyone has really enjoyed surfing. We spend days at the beach swimming, surfing and sleeping and then days turned into late nights. If you’ve never been to Hossegor, you should know that Capbreton and Seignosse are really really close and great places to stay too. In fact this Summer, we’ve spent most of our times in Seignosse where our friends were surfing.
I’ve never been one known to pack the whole house when we travel around Europe. I like to travel light without constraints but I have a child who likes climbing trees and spend hours in the water so here are some of my favourite organic products I pack for the whole family in our toilet bag.
During Summer time, I like to go for hairstyles that are fairly low-maintenance, like the beach wave or something shorter easy to style. When the sun is out, we should be outside enjoying the nice weather while it lasts instead of being stuck in the bathroom, right!? Right now, my hair is far too long so most of the time, it ends up tied up in a messy bun when I work on my laptop, in a ponytail when I go surfing and down when I go out so it would be nice to get something a bit shorter and fresher for the holidays. Here are 8 haircuts that caught my eye for this Summer and which may work for you too.
Seriously loving the Instagram feed of Jacqueline Mikutas at the moment. Her recent photos in the Balearic Islands are Summer perfection…and this hammock! Let’s get the look! (position your mouse near the cross to see the price)
Dreaming of Summer by the beach? Let me take you to Mykonos…you won’t regret it!
