White bedroom + white floorboards

White bedroom + white floorboards

Here is a sneak-peek of our white bedroom with white floorboards and if you are in need of new bed linens, you may find this post useful.

We had some guests that had stained some of our bed linens with pizza and wine so I had to purchase new bed linens from The White Company and Muji.

From Muji, I got these soft washed duvets for all the single beds in our home.

Five years ago, I had bought an organic white duvet cover from Muji for Mila’s bedroom and at the time, I wish I had bought more because the cotton had a really nice texture that felt like linen.

I don’t think these are organic but they still have a really nice texture to them.White bedroom + white floorboards

Made.com has also some nice stonewashed linens.

I recently bought this Brisa stonewashed linen bed set in pure white for our home in France but I haven’t unpacked it yet.

For our bedroom and the bedroom in the loft conversion, I ordered the Savoy duvet cover in white.
I had ordered white linens from The White Company.

However, I was really impressed by the quality of the Savoy range that felt like the kind of crisp white linen you get from a 5***** boutique hotel while bringing an elegant look to our bedroom.

Sleeping in these white bed linens felt amazing, especially on my birthday when Steve brought me breakfast in bed and I had the luxury of a lie-in without my favorite kid or dog running and jumping onto our bed.

How about you? Have you purchased some bed linen recently that you would recommend?

    Bonjour Karine!

Hi! This is my first comment here so I just wanted to give you a quick shout out and tell you I genuinely enjoy reading your posts. thanks

  4. J’adore voter blog, vos maisons, et voter oeil.

I’ve bought pure linen bed linens from IKEA, Merci (when in Paris), Restoration Hardware, H&M and West Elm here in Canada. Only ever in white and only one set of grey from H&M (not the worst quality, but rather thin.)

The Ikea Linblomma linens felt stiff and not very nice at first, but they softened up beautifully and were so well priced that I was disappointed when they were discontinued. I’m curious if you or anyone has bought their new line called Puderviva. Here they are only available in the oddest muddy green and brown shades.

    • Thank you very much for your lovely comment.
I never bought stonewashed linen from Ikea but I will keep an eye. I’m happy with the one from H&M. I agree with you, it’s thinner but quite soft unlike the linen fitted sheet I had bought from Zara. I haven’t heard about Puderviva yet but I will check this out because I think a muddy green would be quite nice for Winter

  5. Spellcheck had its way with me.

I tried to write votre blog et votre oeil and it changed it to ‘voter’. (sigh)
